Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995 in Berkeley California USA. She is an actress famous as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento is an Italian actress and film maker who was born into an extended household. She has also pursued film and acting. She made her debut when she was only 9 years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she played the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo, and was one of the actors in The Church directed by Michele Soavi. She was later cast as Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon It was when she starred in Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career took off, and she had the opportunity to move on from playing very young girls, to more mature, complex characters. The film was given a warm review in the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she acted in her first film with her father, the renowned Italian film director Dario Argento his mother, one of the most beloved actresses by Argento, Daria Nicolodi, playing an overweight girl on the lookout for her parents' killer. Asia has collaborated with Dario Argento on three movies, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome, and the Phantom of the Opera. In the film Condannato a nozze, Asia's absorbed technique of powerful acting was used well. In 1993, Asia starred in the role of Arianna an disabled girl in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista. This was a challenging and demanding role in which she received an award of David di Donatello. In 1995 she teamed up along with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio and won a David di Donatello. Asia began directing as a career in 1994, and made two shorts, an episode of De Generazione. The following year, 1996, Asia made a document about her father. Then, in 1998, Asia made a feature film about Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), that was awarded an award by the Rome Film Festival. In 1999 Asia was the first to direct a feature film by directing Scarlet Diva in which she played the lead actress and author of the screenplay. In May 2000, the film became available to the public worldwide. It was the winner of a special award at Brooklyn's Williamsburg festival of film.
